The Endocannabinoid System
The Endocannabinoid System is one of 13 systems found in the human body. It contains a network of cannabinoid receptor sites located throughout the body and nervous system. There are at least three different types of receptor sites, CB1, CB2 and CB3. The cannabinoid receptors, CB1 and CB2, are located in the central and peripheral nervous systems
The body produces cannabinoids endogenously (internally) to link up with appropriate receptor sites to function in many healing ways. One of the components made is chemically identical to CBD and helps to re-modulate the immune system to prevent and/or disable cancer. Study of the Cannabis plant has revealed at least 10 components that have healing properties and that work effectively within the human Endocannabinoid System.
Therefore, plant cannabinoids, have a beneficial effect on: memory, appetite, energy, balance and metabolism, stress response, immune system, female reproduction, autonomic nervous system, analgesia, thermoregulation, sleep and physical exercise.
Hemp vs Cannabis (Marijuana)
The Hemp plant and the Cannabis plant are found in the same family of plants (like cousins). Both have many healthful benefits to humans. The Hemp plant has healing properties but no psychotropic properties (getting high). The Cannabis plant has healing properties, but also has a high degree of psychotropic properties (getting high).
Tetrahydrocannabinoid (THC) is the principal psychoactive in marijuana. The 0.3% THC in hemp is not enough to cause a high, but this small amount has been shown to accumulate in the system and may generate a positive drug test. EXTRACTION PROCESS There are 2 common processes used to extract CBD Oil from the hemp plant.
1. SOLVENT – Most economical but can damage beneficial terpenes and can leave a chemical residue. Used primarily to extract CBD isolates.
2. SUPERCRITICAL CO2 – A super clean extraction process that leaves no residue.

CBD ISOLATES – 99.9% pure crystallized cannabinoids with no terpenes or flavonoids.
FULL SPECTRUM HEMP – Contains over 100 naturally occurring compounds including cannabinoids (THC at 0.3%), terpenes and other nutrients.
